TSgt  Peter Kraines was a tactical Pararescueman who passed away in a training accident on October 8, 2019. He leaves behind his wife, Emily, and his two children. The Peter Kraines Memorial Golf Tournament started in 2020 as a way to get friends and family together to remember Peter over some golf. It quickly turned into an event to raise money for an education fund for Peter's two children. 

We are happy to announce that in 2023 Emily Kraines started the Gold Star Family Education Program (GSFEP) through the Pararescue Foundation. All proceeds from this tournament will be placed in that fund to help offset education costs of other Pararescue gold star families in addition to Peter's family.
